Earlier this month, OnTheHUNT camera-man and star Trevor Knight wrote a post on his MySpace blog about his troubles on the dating scene.
Knight wrote, "I'm stuck being alone because I'm a porn star…When I'm making movies its not about the emotional connection with the guy, its about the sexual intensity between the models. When I have sex on my own time its purely about being with that person. I want that person to be mine and only mine. Many of you will think this is one sided but when you live my life having the boy all to myself means the world. It would kill me to know they share themselves with someone else. Is that too much to ask?

Porn star Ricky Sinz (pictured above) echoed a similar sentiment on his blog Sinz Hardcore Hangout. Sinz writes, "I share most of my life in the publics eye which is cool, but I sometimes want a small personal piece of heaven just for me. I'm greedy LOL."
Sinz later hints that he's been seeing fellow bisexual porn star Gunner (who is apparently packing a whopping 13 inches). He continues in a comment on the post–"I think I'll do some straight work…try to get the cravings out of my system and just accept the idea that maybe I'm not bi but really gay."
What do you think? Are porn stars doomed to date other porn stars or be in open relationships? Would you give up sleeping around for both an emotional and physical connection with Trevor, Ricky or someone else in the adult industry?

If the porn actor agrees to monogamy in his personal life, I don’t see why another guy couldn’t enter a monogamous relationship with him. I think the mutual understanding of porn sex as “sexual intensity between the models,” rather than emotional connection, is key here.
I think porn stars can have any kind of relationship they choose. It doesn’t have to be one or the other. The connection they have on screen is totally different from the connection they would have with a partner. On screen its purely physical and off screen they can have both however both have to realize that the off screen one carries more weight. One cannot have a relationship with just the physical and in porn its purely physical. The chemistry we see is fake and its acting. Personally speaking if there was substance along with chemistry and a connection I wouldn’t mind dating a porn actor.

Anywho, having dated a porn star for a couple of years in my past and getting to know many of his, ahem, coworkers I can say that this sentiment is shared by many. Not all, but most want and need an emotional commitment in their lives.
That must make them – OMG! – human. Heaven forbid the men you and me lust after actually have, you know, emotional needs.

Everyone has a right to their opinion I don’t think richie is jealous at all, if you are cool with the fact that the person you date is in the adult industry and you know that right out the gate that is one thing. Just like there are people that are cool there will be people that aren’t cool with that and you have to respect that. And choosing to be in that business it is something you are going to have to deal with..
Honestly, I could easily date a porn star. I’m not given to sleeping around when in a monogamous relationship (when single, on the other hand, I’ve been known to wander). I want and crave that emotional connection as much as the next guy, if not more, so I see no reason why porn stars shouldn’t be able to want and need that too. Hell, I’d be fine with having a NONsexual relationship with a porn star as long as I got to have that emotional intimacy.
