Gay icons The Village People, will be getting their very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as their 30th anniversary as a group approaches!
The star will be featured only one block away from a Y.M.C.A, the title of one of their most well known hits; it will also be right between fellow gay icons Liberace and Betty Grable… AND for some extra gimmicky goodness, they will be wearing their original costumes to the ceremony!
The ceremony will take place on September 12, 2008, and will be the 2,369th star! Congrats Village People, and thanks for the endless karaoke-esque fun!
