We've been neglecting you, and it's time to make up for it. Today's round of the Weekly Top Ten Wild Card is devoted entirely to "People's Choice". In other words, all of the songs competing in this week's poll were suggested by readers of Manhunt Daily (aka YOU).

Today's entries are composed of new music by Drake, Sara Bareilles, Allison Iraheta and Roll Deep. If you're not satisfied with any of these selections, leave us a comment with a suggestion for next week. Who knows? We might wind up including it in next week's round!

———————————————————————————

Drake – Find Your Love: In one of Drake's verses, he brags about dropping a mixtape that sounded like an album. So why do all the tracks intended for his album sound like they came off a mixtape? No disrespect or anything. I'm just keeping it real with y'all. Maybe this one will grow on me, but one thing's definitely clear–it does not make my pussy whistle.

———————————————————————————

Sara Bareilles – King Of Anything: I've had this odd vendetta against Ms. Bareilles due to her inescapable hit "Love Song". While this track may not be as successful as her breakout single, it's certainly less annoying. And I can totally get down with that. Work it out, Sara!

———————————————————————————

Allison Iraheta – Don't Waste The Pretty: Without any prior knowledge, I wouldn't have guessed this song was by an American Idol contestant. Structurally, it sounds like a poppier version of an Alanis Morissette song, and there's definitely a great message behind it. Or a vaguely lesbian message. I haven't quite figured that part out, but big props to Allison either way.

———————————————————————————

Roll Deep f/ Jodie Connor – Good Times: Party rap with accents? I can totally fuck with that. On another note, doesn't it sound like this Jodie chick pulled an "Ursula the Sea Witch" and stole Rihanna's voice? I'm not judging or anything, because this jam still makes me want to shake my ass.

  1. Drizzy all the way. The song is good, it might have to grow on you though….
I like how he was walking around Jamaica as if he were back in Toronto haha! That’s not the Jamaica you see at your likkle circuit parties….

  2. You should listen to LIGHTS “Second Go” or even “Saviour [Adam Young remix] she’s currently doing small house shows with Owl City and her voice is amazing and her style is a mix of 80’s influence and techno/pop.

  3. Allison!!!! Her album is amazing. Listen to Beat Me Up, it’s a Kevin Rudolph track that screams dance rock

  4. I went for Roll Deep. The song is growing on me since I heard it a few weeks ago. It really makes you wanna dance and it has that Euro beat that’s catchy.

  5. Is it just me, or does EVERY SINGLE DRAKE SONG sound exactly the same? God,for somebody that young, he’s a whiny little bitch. How does someone who’s had so much success as an actor and singer still complain constantly about the hard times he’s been through?
Allison’s song was the only one I actually enjoyed (“Good Times” was the definition of a generic party song and “King of Anything” was a put down song without any strength or energy behind it).

  6. I voted for Sara Bareilles because she is amazing. One of the best voices of our time.
I also second the request for Lights’ “Second Go”. And maybe put Breaking Benjamin’s “Give Me A Sign” and VV Brown’s “Shark in the Water” or “Game Over” (I don’t know if VV Brown has been up here before or not.)
