Oh, Washington DC! The US capital is known as the center of our nation’s political system, and now it might get a reputation as… the land of the fetishes? The Manhunt Daily team recently performed an unofficial research project to discover the kinkiest areas of the United States. Much to our surprise, DC ranked first place for individuals into fisting, exhibition, watersports and roleplaying.
What conclusions can we draw from this data? We’re not exactly sure! However, you might want to practice your “silent duck” technique for the next time you’re in town. And don’t say we didn’t warn you when the headlines pop up about a random politician who peed on his intern…

The numbers are definitely skewed by politicians and their interns, and the sketchier parts of the District. I used to live in D.C. and believe me, the scene is actually pretty prudish.
I was just about to say something along the lines of hope4change. Maybe a correlation, idk…just sayin’…
Is there a reason you guys compared DC (a city) to entire states like NY and CA? Why not NYC and SF?
And what could possibly be more on the DL, dirty, kinky, skanky, corrupted, and perverted than the vast majority of politicians, may I ask? And where is the largest percentage of politicans located? Why even wonder why DC ranked highest? It’s the natural order of the genre.
that’s my town, yay, and even though it’s more politically considered a state, it’s more of a city than anything. So the results are bit skewed because we all know us freaks flock to the city 🙂
These numbers are all pretty much the same. More interesting would be comparing the top and bottom states in each category.
The reason DC shows up as so much higher is because it is an urban area being compared to broad states which encompass metros and rural areas. Besides the liberal leaning tendencies of metropolises, individuals with fetishes are more likely to flourish in dense populations where theres an increased likelihood someone else shares their fetish.
Well DC according to a study should also have the highest HIV Infection Rate – reported in Newsweek:

More than 1 in 30 adults in Washington, D.C., are HIV-infected—a prevalence higher than that reported in Ethiopia, Nigeria, or Rwanda. Certain U.S. subpopulations are particularly hard hit.
In New York City, 1 in 40 blacks,
1 in 10 men who have sex with men,
and 1 in 8 injection-drug users are HIV-infected,
as are 1 in 16 black men in Washington, D.C.
In several U.S. urban areas, the HIV prevalence among men who have sex with men is as high as 30%—as compared with a general-population prevalence of 7.8% in Kenya and 16.9% in South Africa.
