Remember back in 2002 when Pink sang the line, “Tired of being compared to damn Britney Spears“? Well, it looks like she’ll finally have her revenge, because the “Fuckin’ Perfect” singer is poised to steal Britney’s top spot on our Weekly Top Ten. And if digital sales are any indication, she may do the same on the Billboard Hot 100!
Of course, that’s not what we’re hear to talk about. There’s still one empty position on this weekend’s charts, and we’re looking to fill it with one of your suggestions. That’s right! All of the songs in today’s Wild Card round were submitted by Manhunt Daily readers for your consideration. See? We listen to you sometimes…
This week’s competition features music by Geographer, Ladytron, Martin Solveig and Aggro Santos. There are only two days to vote for your favorite selection, so start clicking before it’s too late!

Geographer – Verona: Give this one a full two minutes before dismissing it. This band’s sound has been compared to such crowd-pleasers as The Postal Service and MGMT, and they were designated by SPIN magazine as one of three “Undiscovered Bands You Need To Hear Now”. Show some love for some dreamy synth-pop!

Ladytron – Ace of Hz: Though the electro foursome hasn’t released a new album since 2008’s Velocifero, this single first surfaced on the soundtrack to the FIFA 11 video game. It’s allegedly slated to appear on their upcoming project, but for now we’ll have to settle on an EP with remixes by Tiesto and Punks Jump Up.

Martin Solveig f/ Dragonette – Hello: While this tune didn’t get much love in the US, it became a top ten hit in France, Italy, New Zealand and the Netherlands. Could it take over our Weekly Top Ten countdown? Stay tuned in to find out!

Agrro Santos f/ Kimberly Walsh – Like U Like: After achieving a top ten hit with Kimberly Wyatt of The Pussycat Dolls, this Brazilian-born UK rapper is back with a new single featuring Kimberly Walsh of Girls Aloud. Confusing, eh? All you need to know is that this guy likes hanging out with girl group members named “Kimberly”. And the hook on this track is irresistibly catchy.
None of the above.
Wow, I’m super impressed! I can’t believe MHD actually put up a suggestion I made. That said, it’s too bad people don’t actually like it, hahaha. Poor Geographer. Oh well, I’m a huge fan of Dragonette, so I can live with this.

Aggro Santos and Kimberly Walsh. Cute song. But I guess this round belongs to Martin Solveig this time around.
As I said before, I go with Aggro because I have a soft spot for Kimberly. The Ladytron single is also very good.
Geographer! Hell to the Yes!
