“Never Give Up” will act as the closing song on Whitney Houston‘s posthumous greatest hits collection. The instrumental of the Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox produced track sounds like it’s stuck in 1998—not necessarily in a bad way—yet the vocals are unmistakably from Houston’s late I Look To You era.

We could all use a soppy, inspirational R&B track in our lives this morning, so grab a damn biscuit and sop up all this late-Whitney goodness. Dooooo it!

  1. Love Whitney’s I Look to You album, but I can see why this was left off. It’s not bad, but the production isn’t up to the standard of the album. And whoever that is rapping at the begining of the track? UGH. So obnoxiously nasal and unnecessary.
