I hate people that try and turn it into a “OH THEY ARE HATING ON MINORITIES” argument.
Bottom line? Just because the majority voted for these people doesn’t mean anyone ever said the other models weren’t attractive. This sort of thing always ends up that way – the majority of the voters are attracted to a certain kind of guy, so you end up with two very similar people in the finals.
It’s also silly to say that Democracy is flawed because someone you personally don’t think should’ve been elected got elected. The majority of the US thought that Bush should’ve been elected, and even if it wasn’t the more intelligent majority, it was still THE MAJORITY. Sorry that the entire US government isn’t going to bend just for you, but that’s not how it works.
You may prefer anarchy or whatever other option you may have, but I -like- having rights, and I like at least having nominal say in what happens – better than living in a dictatorship.
