Yesterday, I wrote a rather scathing piece against selfies in the mirror entitled “Beyond The Naked Selfie In The Mirror: 12 Manhunt Pics That Caught My Attention“. You may have read it (or at least stared at all the pretty pictures included). In doing so, of course, you may have wondered what the heck I have against documenting your physique through one of the simplest, most effective methods that anyone with a smartphone and a reflective surface could accomplish.
To clarify, I should openly state that I don’t have any animosity toward half-naked selfies. They get the job done. They give you a somewhat clear perspective of what someone actually looks like, versus the awkward angles, close-ups or highly edited professional shots you might otherwise encounter in the world of Manhunt.
The important things to remember here, however, are moderation and variety.
As I said in my previous piece, you don’t need twenty-thousand selfies taken in the same pose with the same facial expression. You might think that the change in your outfit, location or Instagram filter makes a huge difference, but these images wind up coming off as redundant and, on a harsher note, can be interpreted as narcissistic by potential suitors.
So here’s my advice! Take as many selfies in the mirror as you’d like—ten, twenty, a billion—then carefully select the best ones from the bunch to post in your Manhunt profile. Mix it up, if you can! Pair a smile with a sexy scowl, a flexing shot with something a little more casual, a completely clothed shot with a full-on nude, or whatever combination brings out what’s unique about you.
Throw in some non-mirror shots, too! Turn the camera around on yourself for a more traditional selfie, or set it up across from you and use your phone’s self-timer function. (There are apps available if your phone doesn’t come with this function.) These might seem like the most basic suggestions ever, but if they’re so damn basic, why are there so many guys who just don’t get it?

Which is worse? A guy alone saying “You know, I need a new profile pic for my manhunt profile. Let me take a quick shot in the mirror to show off my body so guys know what they’re getting.” OR “You know, I need a new profile pic for my manhunt profile. Let me get someone over here to take a few hundred glamor shots and I’ll pick out two or three of them.”
Sometimes what’s left to the imagination is the fun part. And some of us have great imaginations!

I agree with you so much on this. It kinda makes it look like these guys are just walking around taking pics of themselves in every mirror they come across. It does get tiring…very tiring. But then by the same token, today I got a wink from a guy and and unlock. He had 12 photos there and they were all of his cock. No face but just a tiny part of his legs and tummy. How fucking many moods is your cock in that it needs that many pictures? “Here it is from above…below…the left…the right…in front…to the side and below…OKAY I GET IT. You have a cock. Are you really just a dick or is there more to you? It’s great to see a variety of shots but that doesn’t mean 15 of the same thing. Picks some favorites and move on with it.
