A woman in Britain has filed for divorce after her husband had a gay affair on virtual world Second Life. The man would regularly sign on to the virtual world while the couple were in bed, and have gay dungeon sex until late hours of the morning.
Lisa Best describes this experience, and what led to her divorce from her husband of four years, “I saw John’s little person [whoa!] having it off with another man in a dungeon on the
screen. I just froze with my head on the pillow, silently watching what he was doing.
I felt sick to my stomach. After a few minutes, I could bear it no longer and sat up in bed demanding to
know what the hell he was doing. He quickly folded the damn machine shut."
John Best claims he was just exploring, and he would never have an affair, especially with a man, but as far as Lisa is concerned “having virtual sex with a man is the same as having
sex with him in real life."
With Second Life having 15 million users, and other virtual worlds growing, there are bound to be more cases like this. So what do you guys think, is having a virtual affair equivalent to one in real life?

well good thing the court is awarding her nothing for the divorce… lmao…. that wasn’t cheating just harmless fun. I bet you there have been cases in the past where plain jane wife wouldn’t put out for a couple of weeks then caught husband having phone sex.
When it involves another real person, it crosses the line from harmless( like porn) to cheating, even if the interaction is virtual. And couldn’t the other man have been a woman playing a gay man online?
