Wowzers! Beautiful Icebergs!

While most icebergs are white due to tiny bubbles trapped
inside, which scatter the light in every direction, some pick up a multitude of
colors due to various natural phenomenon.

These stunning banded icebergs, formed over hundreds or thousands of
years, were pictured floating in the waters of the Antarctic.

They were photographed by Norwegian sailor Oyvind Tangen, on
board a research ship around 1,700 miles south of Cape Town and 660 miles north of the Antarctic.
