Rapper, actor and former Pimp My Ride host Xzibit appeared on a radio show two months ago and said some not-so-kind words about Diddy inviting him to a gay bar for a drink. As the story goes, the star arrived to the bar with his girlfriend of the time Karrine Steffans and left shortly after spotting a male go-go dancer and two men kissing.
Xzibit told the show, "I’m like, ‘What the fuck is this?’…We take off. We leave the club directly. I didn’t say peace to nobody. It was suspect.” The press sensationalized his comments by saying that he "threw Diddy under the gay bus".
Today, in an interview with BET, Xzibit showed off a different stance by stating, "The problem I saw was…the fact that they were trying to say it's a negative thing—period—to be gay…You can't really shoot people down because if we're going to start that we might as well start from square one and jump off the slave ship!"
Wait. Wasn't it he himself who implied being gay is a negative thing in the first place? Whatever the case may be, I'm glad to see him speaking out against homophobia. Now that he's cool with the gays, do you think he'll pimp my ride? My hoopty needs a serious makeover.

Sounds like he WAS pretty offended/offensive, but if true, the allegations of inviting him to a gay bar ARE more insulting, because it suggests an attempt to set up a sensationalist tabloid situation, using a gay bar to damage his reputation. That’s WAAAAY more homophobic than him storming out.
The whole thing is suspect to me, it sounds more like they both need publicity for sagging careers, diddy whats his name has confused everybody by the rotating moniker, what is it this week. And XZbit (who to hell is that) definitely needs his name in the press. Much to do about nothing and I mean nothing, nobody. oh christ why waste ink.
