Oh, my virgin vocabulary! Apparently,
‘porno’ is the new cuss word, as numerous newspaper, TV, and billboard ads for
the movie "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" have been nixed. Why? Because little kids are saying “what’s a
porno?” to their parents who don’t think their tender rug rats should know what
it is yet.
An ad at Dodgers stadium was pulled after fan complaints. One came from a dad who took his son to a
game.
He was explaining to his son what a squeeze bunt was… commercial
break, the ad comes on, and the kid asks, "Dad, what does porno mean?"
If you ask me, ‘squeeze bunt’ sounds a lot more graphic than ‘porno.’ While he’s at it, would dad please explain where
the catcher’s box is so I can show off my backdoor slider?
